About the event
Yoga is no longer a word foreign to the West but has very much found its way into colloquial language and the local culture. Still the traditional background, the philosophical implications and applications in every day life are rather sparsely delved into. We want to change this by elaborating on what yoga is traditionally and how it is of relevance for you and me today. By learning to become conscious about our internal lives we can then overcome lower, impulsive behaviour and thus become free to connect with our true selves and the Supreme. In this way the different yoga paths open fascinating perspectives on the functions of body, mind and soul.
