What is time? Are there good times and bad times? Do we have enough time or are we short of time? Are we gaining time or are we losing time? How do we measure time and when is something timeless?
According to the Vedic understanding there are two approaches to time. The imminent view is that time and space are two correlative terms. Time follows a cyclic system, in the microcosmos as well as in the macrocosmos. But there is another concept of time which is diametrical opposed to our regular understanding – which is eternal time.
Georg M. Hilbi is an alumnus of UZH, holding a PHD in European Art History.
