The sublime process for attaining perfect knowledge of the Absolute
There are different Yoga processes mentioned in the Vedas, which are based on particular practices in order to achieve a certain goal or a specific perfection. Most of them require a rigid discipline from the apprentice and are therefore very difficult to execute.
The Bhakti-Yoga process (Devotional service) hence has been recommended for the people in general as the perfect practice, it is easy and happily executed with an everlasting result of direct perception of the self (pratyakṣāvagamaṁ dharmyaṁ su-sukhaṁ kartum avyayam).
