About the event

The Bhagavad-Gita is one of the most studied and most translated texts in the history of world literature. It is considered at least 2,500 years old and has made its mark as a standard and universal work of the Vedic tradition. The Gita has intrigued and inspired translators, interpreters, seekers, and readers in and outside of India. The book with its 700 verses fascinates by its linguistic style, practical philosophy, and spiritual depth. The presentation on December 1 will offer an introduction to this spiritual classic in five parts.

Guido von Arx was born and educated in Switzerland, holds an English proficiency degree from Cambridge University and a diploma in adult education (SVEB). He’s a freelancer, focusing on yoga philosophy, dharma coaching and the production of Vedic dramas (Mahabharata, Ramayana, etc.). So far, He has authored eight books in German – all dealing with Vedic philosophy and poetry.
